The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness.
Self care is an active process of becoming aware of, and making better choices toward becoming healthy, wealthy, and wise, that leads you flourishing in life. Wellness is more than being free from illness, it is an intentional process of change and growth. It’s a state of complete physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social wholeness, and not just the absence of disease or infirmity.
Self care starts with you affirming your strengths, embracing your weaknesses, owning your soul(mind, will, intellect, emotions, and intellect) and choosing self, absent from shame, guilt, and condemnation. Lastly it’s learning to own your truth, walk in truth, and knowing Gods truth, that sets you free.
